| Reaching our Youth |
The vast majority of the young people who were recruited as YADS (youth advisory delegates) and who were present at this year's General Assembly were overwhelmingly in support of gay rights.
These young people were recruited, educated, and mentored by adults who are determined to accomplish nothing short of a "new church revolution" as stated on the young man's sign in the picture.
It's time to recruit, educate, and mentor students on the truth about homosexuality and what God intends for their lives, or we will see an entire generation living outside God's will and encouraging others to do so.
A new PCUSA sexuality curriculum, which is sure to advocate the acceptance of homosexuality, is in the works. What will we do our conservative churches do? We need to teach and talk about sexuality. Some excellent youth websites and materials are below:

This site gives young people tools for understanding unwanted same-sex attraction and the resources to address those feelings in a constructive way. It also helps youth who know someone who experiences same-sex attraction understanding in how to respond to that person with understanding and respect.

Outside Convention Center at General Assembly, young man (with many other young people) advocating gay rights and full acceptance and affirmation of homosexual, bisexual, queer, transgendered, and many more behaviors/identities in the Church.

YADS (Youth Advisory Delegates) meet to hear from five gay-affirming groups in our denomination: Covenant Network, More Light Churches, The Witherspoon Foundation, That All My Freely Serve (TAMFS) and only one group in our denomination that offers healing from homosexuality: OneByOne.
Approximately 75% of these YADs voted yes on decisions to affirm homosexuality in the plenary session.
